Flight simulation airline manager Pasenger2x has finally received its long-awaited update, one of the biggest releases yet for Passenger2.
For those unfamiliar with Passenger2x, it is an airline management add-on for MSFS, X-Plane, P3D, and FSX that let’s you become the C.E.O. of your own flight simulator-based airline. From choosing new destinations to determining your airline’s seat selection fees, Passenger2x allows you to build your airline from the ground up and make decisions that affect the reputation and financial future of your airline. Whether you choose to manage an ultra-low cost carrier or develop the next Emirates-style luxury experience, the possibilities are endless.

After months of hard work and undertaking one of the largest development cycles for Passenger2, the new Passenger2x update is finally here. While the team is working on an UI refresh for the flying bar, the entire airline management UI has been redesigned with a cleaner, more spacious layout and adaptive sizing that now scales to 85% of your monitor. In addition, the balance and monthly profit figures are displayed in a cleaner, easier-to-read format. Alongside the visual overhaul, a brand new file system was introduced to support larger airlines and improve the application’s performance. As a result, users should experience faster loading and saving times, and will be prompted to convert save files the first time you launch. The banking and loans section has also been streamlined, with the ability to sort transactions and choose simpler loan repayment options.

One of the biggest overhauls to Passenger2x is the update to the AI flying feature. The system now runs entirely in the background and generates full flight reports to your local machine. Overall, the system should make smarter decisions and run deeper simulations to improve realism. Lastly, while initially promised for a June-release, Passenger2 managed to get a scheduling management update baked into this release. Players can now click, drag, and resize flight blocks directly on the schedule grid, with turnaround times automatically calculated, auto-filled flight numbers, and one-click maintenance scheduling. Passenger2 also released a number of quality-of-life improvements, including increased airline limit, removed hub wait times, reworked airline star rating system, and more. However, Passenger2 is just getting started. Passenger2 LITE and PRO will also be updated in the coming days as the team finishes off the final development. The team will also be re-evaluating their development roadmap to shift focus to features most requested by the community.
You can now download the latest Passenger2x update through the Passenger2 Manager. To read more about this landmark update, visit Passenger2’s website.
