Update 01-Sep-2024: Now available via the Marketplace as a free download. Parallel 42 has provided context and insight into why the tools they develop sometimes start out at a cost, but then how they can turn it into freeware for the community. This is thanks to Microsoft seeing value in applications like this being helpful for the community. Anyone who did purchase the product prior to the product being turned to freeware got a full refund from Parallel 42.
Parallel 42 continues to want to try and create a variety of products that cater to a wide audience, which is the case with Marketplace Stars. This new utility tool for MSFS enhances the visual representation of ratings in the in-sim Marketplace to make things easier to interpret.
The tool will change the visuals of the stars by adding colourisation to the stars and allow you to easily view ratings. Different colours represent different ratings and the opacity will change if a star rating has a decimal point in them. It works across all of Marketplace once installed.
It is available as a free download from the Parallel 42 store. We are hopeful that this will come to the in-sim Marketplace as a free download, just as Thick Scroll did.
