Parallel 42 has released Hogsback Ranch for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, marking the developer’s third native MSFS 2024 scenery. This high-detail backcountry destination blends luxurious amenities with challenging approaches, designed for both PC and Xbox simmers.
Located in Tehama County, northern California, Hogsback Ranch sits on a remote plateau northeast of San Francisco. The site features two short runways with dramatic cliffside surroundings, offering both scenic views and demanding landing conditions for STOL and GA pilots. Its secluded setting and premium facilities make it an ideal retreat for bush flying enthusiasts.

The scenery has been built from the ground up for MSFS 2024, offering custom terraforming, high-quality modelling, and immersive detailing. Pilots can explore a variety of amenities, including a private hangar, swimming pool, stables, and walk-through interiors. Dynamic wildlife, solar-powered lighting, and unique micro-scenes enhance the environment, while the short gravel and dirt runways deliver a true test of skill.
Hogsback Ranch is available from Parallel 42 for $14 USD. Owners of the MSFS 2020 version can upgrade for $2 USD using code HOGSBACK24 until 5 February 2026.
