Parallel 42 kicks off FlightSimExpo 2024 with the first big announcement/release of the weekend. A320 Immersion is now available for Microsoft Flight Simulator. You can watch the official trailer right now above.
The new A320 Immersion pack will add a range of new effects to your A320 aircraft. Not specific to one developer, the A320 Immersion pack will add these effects to the default Asobo and iniBuilds A320neo aircraft, along with third-party efforts from the likes of Fenix and LatinVFR. The FlyByWire A32NX is also included in this package. Therefore, regardless of your favourite A320 to fly in the simulator, the effects package will have you covered.
An impressive 17 new custom effects have been added to the A320 Immersion pack. Starting with contrails, you will now see accurately represented contrails in the simulator coming from your A320 engines. Condensation effects are now dynamic on your aircraft based on aircraft state and weather conditions, whilst in cooler weather, expect to see cold engine starts.
In the air, you will see the waste water drain system in action (once an hour), whilst in certain thunderstorm conditions, you will get a glimpse of St-Elmo’s Fire. On the ground, expect to see water droplets, hot brake smoke, and even skid marks.
Here is the complete list of 17 custom visual effects you can expect to see in the upcoming A320 Immersion pack from Parallel 42:
