PacSim Releases John Glenn Columbus International Airport

Pacific Island Simulation (PacSim) has released its much-anticipated John Glenn Columbus International Airport scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator. According to the developer, the airport includes accurate terminal, concourse, and airport layouts, as well as custom-animated jetways, accurate vegetation placement, and pavement weathering. The interior of the passenger terminal is also modeled. General aviation pilots will be happy to see that PacSim also included accurate representations of the airport’s FBOs and NetJets headquarters located on the airport’s northern perimeter.

John Glenn Columbus International Airport (KCMH) is a medium-sized, midwestern U.S. airport located 6 miles (9.7 km) east of downtown Columbus, Ohio. With a single terminal and 34 gates, KCMH provides 148 non-stop flights to 31 airports via nine airlines daily. Named after Ohio native and astronaut John Glenn, KCMH saw over 8 million passengers in 2023, making it the second busiest airport in Ohio. The airport code “CMH” stands for “Columbus Municipal Hangar,” the original name of the airport.
