Earlier today on Facebook, PacSim announced development of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport for Prepar3D V4. Aside from being my home airport, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport serves as the main airport for the city of Cleveland, Ohio and is a focus city for Frontier Airlines. In 2019 Cleveland Hopkins Airport served over 10 million passengers to destinations throughout the Caribbean and North America. Several airlines such as United, American, jetBlue, Delta, and Southwest serve Cleveland with flights to cities like Atlanta, Boston, Denver, Los Angeles, and many others. Of the 4 terminals at the airport, 3 are operational. Concourse D is the only non-operational concourse, closed after United Airlines pulled the plug on their Cleveland hub in 2014. The airport features 3 runways, the longest of which is over 9,900 feet long.
PacSim did not offer any information on progress or an expected release date. We can speculate the airport will have the same features as their Hiroshima scenery that was released in November of last year, you can check that article out here. Expected with this scenery is an accurate representation of the terminal, hangers, towers, and airport layout. As soon as more information and screenshots are released we will share them with you!
