Following on from a highly successful 2018 event around 2 weeks ago, the Oz Flight Sim Expo team has announced the dates for the 2019 event, along with the launch of a brand new logo (seen above).
The Oz Flight Sim Expo is the only flight simulation event of its kind in Australia, bringing together the, already niche, flight simulation community together to share knowledge and check out the latest and greatest in flight simulation hardware, software, and more. 2018 was the first year that the Expo had been based at Wollongong’s HARS Aviation Museum, and due to the success of this year’s event, both HARS and the Oz Flight Sim Expo team have agreed to make the museum the home of the Expo going forward.
“After the success of moving the event to HARS, and receiving some great feedback from visitors and Exhibitors of the 2018 Oz Flight Sim Expo, it made complete sense to us to make the HARS Aviation Museum the home of the Oz Flight Sim Expo” said Deputy Event Director Dan Hammond. “The support received from the amazing Volunteers of HARS and the Events Manager Sherryl Sherson has been better than we could have imagined. We thank HARS President Bob De La Hunty for the hospitality and we look forward to growing this event at the HARS Aviation Museum”.
Expressions of interest are now open for exhibitors, sponsors and guest speakers for the 2019 event, which will take place on the weekend of November 23 & 24 at the HARS Aviation Museum in Wollongong. Parties interested in attending in any one of these capacities are encouraged to get in touch with the organisational team at corporate@ozflightsim.com
