With the release of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, many developers have been working hard to see if their product(s) will be forward-compatible with the new simulator. With the simulator now in the hands of people now, we have been working hard on providing the community with a detailed compatibility list.
As of today (23-Nov-2024), we have nearly 500 products from Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 in our list, along with their current compatibility status. We have verified with multiple sources, but of course, there may be some inaccuracies or outdated info (yes, already!).
Our role will be to provide updates on a regular basis, but as usual, the community’s support will really make sure that this list stays as fresh as possible. So, if you have experience of products outside of the list, please let us know in the comments below. We are voluntarily updating the list on a regular basis, but please be aware that we are potentially working through thousands of products.
Our compatibility list will give you the latest information on third-party add-ons being compatible with the new flight simulator. We have based this on a number of sources, community comments, and our own experiences. This is not an official list from developers or publishers and we advise anyone to check first with their official creator before relying on this list if you are looking to make a purchase.
Our aim is to keep the list as updated as possible and you can see the last time a specific line-entry was updated. We are voluntarily running this list on behalf of the community. If you have input, you can comment here.

- Unofficially Compatible (User) – User reports it is working as intended
- Compatible (Dev) – Developer confirms it is compatible with or without a product update
- Enhanced Version Available/Coming – An enhanced version is coming or is available for the product. This is different to being compatible.
- Incompatible – Update Coming (Dev) – Currently incompatible with MSFS 2024 and needs an update. It may work, but not as intended by the developer.
- Native Version – A native MSFS 2024 version is available
- Unsupported – Competely unsupported product for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
