Orbx’s Melbourne Airport will be ‘Available Soon’

A short Facebook teaser video was shared from Orbx telling us that the “wait is almost over” for their Melbourne’s Tullamarine Airport (YMML) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The short teaser footage gave us a very brief look at the ground textures and a short look at the building models.

Orbx says, “you will find meticulously designed terminals, taxiways, and runways. Experience the rush of flying from a major gateway to Melbourne and enjoy customised POIs like landside hotels, car parks, Maccas, and more”.

Melbourne Airport first opened in 1970 and has expanded into one the country’s busiest airports. Nearly 13 million passengers passed through one of its four terminal buildings last year. Qantas serves as the biggest airline with a range of domestic and international flights, whilst Virgin Australia, Jetstar and Bonza also offer a range of flights. Other operators include Rex Airlines, Qatar, Scoot, China Airlines and Emirates.

The airport will also nicely accompany Orbx’s Landmarks Melbourne City Pack.

No further details were given but that we should be on the lookout at Tellumarine Airport will be available soon. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information when we have it.
