Orbx has released its Jurassic World: Archipelago via the in-sim Marketplace. Alongside this, there is a new trailer and a steep discount available to new users looking to pick up this prehistoric add-on.
The project, which has been done in conjunction with Universal Pictures, recreates locations such as Isla Nublar, Isla Sorna, Isla Peña and several others, all set during the operational era of Jurassic World, just before things begin to fall apart.
The scenery includes nine airfields and a dozen helipads across the islands and the nearby mainland, giving plenty of options for fixed-wing and rotary flight. The environment is packed with points of interest, film-inspired landmarks, and roaming wildlife, including flyable areas where dinosaurs can be seen moving naturally across the terrain or soaring overhead.
Orbx has also included three themed missions built specifically for MSFS 2024, adding rescue scenarios, dedicated audio design and cinematic pacing to make use of the environment. The pack supports exploration by aircraft, helicopter, boat, or ground vehicle, encouraging players to interact with the archipelago beyond standard airport-to-airport flying.
Jurassic World: Archipelago is available for purchase today in the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 in-sim marketplace. The pack is 20% off, bringing the price to USD 19.99 for a limited time.
