Orbx’s addition of Paul Bennet’s Wolf Pitts Pro and its home airfield, Maitland Airport, receives its first set of updates according to a post made on the Orbx Discord channel. Check out our previous article covering the release for a more in-depth read on the two products.
Wolf Pitts Pro was updated to v.1.0.1 with a modest fix, including fixing a throttle issue, inconsistent behavior with some of the switches, and, most notably, an issue where an empty tank would not cause the engine to shut down (aka “unlimited fuel”).
As for the airport, YMND Maitland, Orbx have made some subtle fixes including adjusting the hangars, adding higher-resolution cars, removing pushback tugs, adding perimeter fencing and windsocks, adjusting misplaced runway lighting, and removing vegetation within airfield boundaries. Additionally, they changed the hangar door animations to no longer be triggered by distance. Rather they are set to open at 6 AM and close at 6 PM.
You can pick up a copy of the Wolf Pitts Pro on the Orbx marketplace for $28 AUD ($18.43 USD, €17.19, or £14.27). If you only want a copy of Maitland Airport, you can purchase it separately for $14.99 AUD ($9.87 USD, €9.20, or £7.64). Finally, you can get the bundle pack and save 25% if you wish to get both.
