Orbx updates Orcas Island Airport for MSFS 2024

Orbx has announced its Orcas Island Airport (KORS) scenery is now available natively for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Located in the San Juan Islands in Washington, USA, Orbx’s version of the iconic airport has graced the simulator since FS9. The latest version for MSFS 2024 is a completely new version and features full PBR UHD texturing, updated models, bespoke detailing, and weather-influenced ground polys.

Orbx Orcas Island

KORS provides an essential air travel connection for residents and visitors of the San Juan Islands, an archipelago in the Pacific Northwest of the United States between the US state of Washington and Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The airport primarily handles general aviation, small commercial commuter aircraft, and seaplane flights, offering scenic views and convenient access to this beautiful archipelago. According to Orbx, the newest version of KORS features “sloped runways, elevated taxiways, beautiful grass, and mixed dynamic and emissive lighting that bring even further character to this charming airport.

The update for Orbx’s KORS is available via Orbx Central and customers who own the MSFS 2020 version of the scenery can obtain the MSFS 2024 version free of charge.
