Orbx has issued an update for their DCS: Kola Map. Kola covers northern Norway, Sweden, Finland and the Russian Murmansk Oblast, as well as parts of the Karelia region. It also includes large parts of Barents Sea and Norwegian Sea.
The September update adds several new airfields to the Kola Map, including the Finnish airports of Kuusamo (EFKS) and Ivalo (EFIV). The summer ground textures have also received an update, now featuring more detail and contrast. New, advanced terrain techniques add a ‘natural rocky terrain’ and better snow placement.
Orbx’s DCS: Kola Map is available at a 20% discount during its Early Access stage, and can be purchased for $55.99 through the DCS website or on OrbxDirect.
