Orbx has just released the latest addition to the TrueEarth family of products, this time covering Northern California.
Northern California is home to some of the most diverse types of land you can find in a flight simulator. You can takeoff from a large city like the San Francisco Bay Area, and within an hour you will have flown over quite a few types of land. Fly over the coast of California and the Pacific Ocean, fly over the flat farmlands of the central valley, pass by dense redwood forests near Santa Cruz, fly high over the Sierra Nevada mountain range, and more.
TrueEarth Northern California covers over 240,000 square kilometers of the state. VFR is possible with this region as landmarks such as “masts, wind farms, churches, power-lines, and lighthouses” are included in this product. Over 1,000 points of interest have been 3D modeled, as well as over 8 million buildings and 284 million trees being included in the product. The mech is an Ultra-HD 10-meter mesh for this product. A full feature list can be viewed at the bottom of this post.
Orbx TrueEarth Northern California can be picked up for $54.95 AUD, but is currently on sale for $43.96 AUD until June 16th at 1AM UTC. TrueEarth Northern California is available for Prepar3D v4 and v5 simulators.
