Since Orbx started previewing the popular TrueEarth Great Britain South addon for Prepar3D just a few weeks ago we’ve all been very eager to get our hands on it. They were showing off Great Britain, and particularly the London area, in beautiful fashion. Lucky for us, we won’t have to wait much longer. The team is currently putting the final touches on it, and the scenery is not far out anymore: John Venema announced on the Orbx forums that Prepar3D users could expect the addon to release within a week.
TrueEarth Great Britain South combines photoreal imagery, FTX Region technology and 3D CityScene. Using these technologies, Orbx makes cities and regions really come to live in magnificent detail. We’ve seen with TrueEarth Netherlands what this detailed treatment does on the Prepar3D platform, so let’s hope TrueEarth GB South will be just as great.
