The latest addition to the wave of ports to Microsoft Flight Simulator, Orbx has pushed their MSFS version of their Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (KSBA). Designed by Misha Cajic, the scenery is a very detailed rendition of the KSBA airport as well as the surrounding area, including famous Santa Barbara landmarks such as the harbor pier. For a more detailed review of the main features, you can read the FSElite reviewed the scenery for P3D. Bear in mind the new sim has a new lighting system and that the scenery received a major update in April 2020.
The Santa Barbara Airport is located northwest of Los Angeles. Located in between mountains and the seaside and often flooded with dangerous sea clouds, its 6000ft runway can be treacherous to reach in bad weather.
The Orbx Santa Barbara Muncipal Airport is available on Orbx Central for AUD19.99. A cross-platform discount of 40% is available for the owners of the P3D version, bringing the price down to AUD11.99.
