Newcastle Airport for the new platform follows on from the X-Plane 11 and the Prepar3D release and sees the same level of quality features as part of the product. Located in the North of England, Newcastle Airport sees over 5 million passengers visit the airport to destinations across Europe and beyond. The airport features a 7,600ft runway with the ability to handle aircraft such as the A320 and the Boeing 777.
The airport product from the Havant team includes detailed PBR texturing, ultra-high quality modelling and custom orthoimagery to blend seamlessly into the surrounding area. There has also been particular care and attention placed on bringing the airport to life with numerous pieces of ground service equipment, static aircraft and detailed airport signage.
