Landmarks Perth City Pack replaces much of the default autogen and photogrammetry around Perth with hand-crafted models, giving the city a far more recognisable skyline when flying VFR or arriving into the region.
The package focuses on the Perth CBD and the Swan River corridor, featuring over 40 custom landmarks and buildings. Key highlights include detailed waterfront areas, enhanced marinas stretching toward Fremantle, and a fully modelled Royal Perth Hospital complete with a rooftop helipad. Langley Park is also included, allowing for city-centre operations that suit helicopters and light aircraft.
Night flying has received particular attention, with custom lighting around Elizabeth Quay helping the city stand out after dark. Additional touches such as improved vegetation, bridges, static vessels, and port infrastructure further help ground the scenery in its real-world counterpart without significantly impacting performance.
