Announced formally only yesterday, Orbx has released KTIW Tacoma Narrows for both Prepar3D and X-Plane simultaneously. This is the first airport developed in Washington state by the team in a very long time and they have gone all-out to include various features for the simmer.
Features include PBR texture work, highly detailed ground textures and buildings, along with static objects such as fuel pumps, vehicles and much more.
Located in Washington State very close to Seattle, the scenery will cover the airfield of Tacoma Narrows itself and the immediate surroundings, including the Tacoma Narrows bridge that links Tacoma city and the Kitsap Peninsula – of which a previous example collapsed during a storm in 1940. The airport itself holds a 1,500m / 5,000 ft runway and welcomes general aviation and business traffic.
You can buy Orbx KTIW Tacoma Narrows on either platform for $34.95 AUD (approximately US$23.87 | €21,57 | £18.30).
Alternatively, you can buy the bundle package until 3rd of January 2020 at 11:00 PM UTC and save 25% off both products.
