Orbx Releases Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport for MSFS 2024

Orbx has released KATL Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, developed by Matteo Veneziani.

Hartsfield-Jackson is consistently ranked as one of the busiest airports in the world by passenger traffic, serving as a major domestic hub and international gateway in the southeastern United States. The airport’s distinctive sloped runway profiles and expansive multi-concourse terminal layout make it one of the more complex environments to recreate in a simulator.

The scenery focuses on capturing the scale and atmosphere of Atlanta while maintaining strong performance optimisation throughout. Veneziani states the release delivers a consistent visual style across textures, modelling, lighting and ground detail, with real-world references used throughout. Terminal interiors are included alongside handcrafted ground textures with surface wear detail, custom approach, taxiway and ground lighting, and a custom VDGS docking guidance system.

Animated systems include the Atlanta SkyTrain and Atlanta Metro with detailed station areas, as well as ground operations covering service vehicles, ramp workers, passengers and branded jetways. Notable landmarks are also modelled, including the Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport Hotel, the Delta Flight Museum and the Delta Air Lines headquarters. Correct airline gate assignments are included to support realistic AI traffic.

A custom GSX profile by AviationBros is bundled within the airport folder, and multiple performance options can be configured via Orbx Central after installation.

You can buy Orbx’s Atlanta International Airport now from the Orbx store for approximately US$35.99.
