Orbx continues to release X-Plane 11 content with their latest scenery EGPB Sumburgh. Located in the North of Scotland, the airport serves as the main airport for Shetland. Featuring some scenic views as you make your approach to the Shetland Islands, it serves as a small airport for both Loganair and DirectFlight.
Orbx has included 30cm photoreal coverage surrounding the airport as well as various landmarks nearby. Furthermore, there is also a range of car animations, high definition ground poly and night lighting throughout. The airport has been designed to integrate with TrueEarth Great Britain North.
You can buy it now from Orbx for AUD $32.95 (approx. USD $23.40 / €20.65 / £18.15). If you owed the FSX/P3D version, you can also get 40% discount.
It’s worth noting that the forum post recently published suggests that TrueEarth GB North is best used to get the most from the airport otherwise there may be issues with:
- Missing or misplaced forests
- Missing or misplaced buildings surrounding the airport
