Orbx Releases Bolzano Airport for MSFS

Nestled in the heart of the Italian Alps, the magnificently located Bolzano Airport (LIPB) has been released for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Orbx developer Andreas Hegi’s latest release features realistic HD textures, interior modelling of the terminal and custom ortho. Now home to Dash 8 Q400 operator SkyAlps, Bolzano is a hive of business jet activity and home to state-owned helicopters of the Carabinieri.

With steep instrument approaches, high terrain and a relatively short runway, Bolzano is bound to test the most ardent of sim pilots.

You can purchase Bolzano Airport from Orbx Direct for $24.64 AUD (approximately US$16.47  | €15,54 | £13.57).

Features

  • Realistic HD textures created from on-site photography provide the most immersive experience possible
  • Updated layout with the new runway extension
  • Custom static DC-3 and helicopters
  • Main terminal with interior modelling
  • Custom ortho

Having grown up a stone's throw away from Manchester Airport, Jordan had no choice but to love aviation and all things planes. With the help of flight simulators, namely FSX and more recently Xplane 11, he eventually muddled his way to sitting behind the controls of the real thing on a daily basis.
