Another airport from Orbx has been released for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The latest airport release is Bastia-Poretta Airport (LFKB ) from developer Matteo Veneziani. He is enabling simmers to visit the French Mediterranean island of Corsica and take on the stunning approach through the mountains and over the coast.
The product comes with detailed texturing and plenty of realistic looking 3D modelling. Matteo has taken the unique architectural design of the airport and implemented it within the simulator and uses innovative texture mapping to make the airport look as realistic as possible. Other features include a sloping runway, realistic night lighting and also a custom wig-wag and dynamic taxiway lighting The airport has also been built using extensive on-site photography to ensure that even the smallest of details are featured in the airport product.
Whilst the airport has been faithfully made, the surrounding area has also been upgraded to further enhance approaching and leaving the airport.
