Orbx has expanded its Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 line-up with the release of four new Norwegian airports, giving simmers more choice across regional and coastal flying routes in Scandinavia. The new releases include ENTO Sandefjord Torp, ENNO Notodden, ENAL Alesund Vigra and ENML Molde. All four have been rebuilt or upgraded specifically for the 2024 platform, with existing 2020 owners eligible for a free upgrade.
Sandefjord Torp serves as a busier commercial regional hub, while Notodden is more suited to general aviation and training. Ålesund Vigra sits on Norway’s rugged west coast with dramatic approaches over the water, and Molde continues that theme with a compact airfield set against steep surrounding terrain and fjord views. Between them, they provide a varied range of flying scenarios, from domestic airline operations to low-level VFR sightseeing along the coastline.
Work across the four airports includes updated modelling, improved texturing, reworked terrain and increased use of high-resolution aerial imagery. Orbx also highlights native MSFS 2024 support as a key point, with optimised lighting, ground materials and performance improvements designed to align with the newer simulator engine.
