Over on the Orbx forum, Iain from Orbx posted a few images of TrueEarth US Northern California for X-Plane 11. Orbx TrueEarth US Northern California was initially announced at the Flight Sim Show in Cosford earlier this year. Staying in line with previous TrueEarth regions, TrueEarth US Northern California will feature accurate trees, buildings and coastlines. The city of San Francisco will be one of the main feature points, the city will be recreated with full PBR material along with Silicon Valley, Yosemite National Park, Mt. Shasta, and more.

TrueEarth US Northern California will extend all the way from the border of California and Oregon, down to Big Sur, California. Northern California will be available in two packs; SD and HD, the coverage area is the same, however, the ground imagery will differ. The HD version of the scenery, the ground imagery will be as high as 1m/px, the SD version will reduce the resolution to 2m/px. The SD version will have a smaller download/install size for those with limited disk space who want to explore the scenery.
