Recently, Orbx took to their forum to showcase previews of developer Finn’s upcoming scenery for MSFS, Oslo Gardermoen.
Oslo Gardermoen Airport (ENGM/OSL) is the primary international airport serving the capital city of Norway. A true hub airport, Oslo Gardermoen is a major base for Flyr, Norse Atlantic Airways, Norwegian Air Shuttle, Scandinavian Airlines, and Widerøe. The Norwegian Army initially used the airport during World War II. However, brand-new passenger facilities were opened in the late 1990s to replace the aging Oslo Fornebu Airport.

In the forum post, Orbx stated the product features that will be included in this scenery. Like most of Orbx’s products, flight simmers can expect PBR 4K textures, interior modeling of the terminal buildings, and up-to-date photo scenery. Oslo Gardermoen will also feature three types of jetways, reflective of the real-world airport, animated ground vehicles, and visual docking guidance systems (VDGS) at certain gates.
Orbx also stated that the product should be ready for release in January 2023 and will cost AUD 29.99. It is worth noting that fellow developer Aerosoft is also working on Oslo Gardermoen for MSFS and last shared previews back in September, so it should be interesting to see which developer releases their scenery first.
FSElite will continue to monitor the progress of Orbx’s Oslo scenery and share any additional updates.
