Orbx Previews Kiruna and Dala Airports

Orbx has posted some great preview shots of two upcoming airports – Dala Airport (ESSD) and Kiruna Airport (ESNQ).

According to the developer, both airports will be part of an upcoming ‘airport bundle’, and they will have some unique features including snow. Rarely seen in a simulator, Orbx promises the 3D-snow will have very little performance hit, and will add a realistic dimension to the airports.

Kiruna (ESNQ) is an airport located in a small mining town in the north of Sweden, in the wild landscapes of Lappland. The 3D snow will definitely be put to use as you fly in and out of the airport, including flights to Stockholm Arlanda, which sees daily service from Kiruna. Dala Airport (ESSD) is a small, regional airport located in Dalarna, Sweden which sees seasonal charters and scheduled service from AIS Airlines.

While there is no date for release, enjoy the work-in-progress shots of both ESNQ and ESSD below.
