Not much to say on this one, other than John has previewed some new shots of the upcoming Meigs Field for X-Plane 11. The default airport for many past flight simulators has been given a fresh lease of life in X-Plane thanks to Orbx and the previews below show how far technology has come.
The beta shots showcase the new expanded area which has been included, which is comparable to the photoreal urban areas of that of Aerofly FS2. There’s also fully annotated buildings and vegetation and moving traffic as the technology present in X-Plane 11.
It’s currently down for a January 2018 release. Any users who own the FSX/P3D or the Aerofly FS2 versions will be entitled to a 40% discount.
More details and news as we get it. Head over to the Orbx forums for further updates.
