Sad news for those eager to get their hands on it, Orbx openLC Africa has been delayed into 2019.
Courtesy of a forum post by Orbx CEO John Venema, we now know what’s been keeping OLC Africa from being in our hands this year. John explains that Africa has been pushed out until February in order for Orbx to finish TrueEarth Great Britain South for P3D. This announcement also comes at a time when Orbx is addressing resources with their new UK development center, which will bring a lot more developers into the fold with the hopes to get back on track with their previously announced roadmap. Coincidentally, if you’d like to work at the aforementioned UK development center, Orbx are currently trying to fill 10+ vacancies so why not shoot them an application if you think you qualify?
That was all that was said on openLC Africa for now, and we’ll be sure to keep you informed if and when the status changes on the project.
