Orbx has today released Half Moon Bay (KHAF) for FSX and P3D, adding to its impressive collection of airports across North America. The newly released airport features 100sq KM of 30/60cm photoreal scenery, along with custom modelling of both the airport and nearby objects. Developed by both Misha Cajic and Scott Armstrong, both have ensured that advanced rendering techniques have been used along with high resolution 5m mesh throughout.
Half Moon Bay is located on the Pacific Coast in San Mateo, which is just south of San Francisco. Being close to the bay, there’s a lot of GA traffic as well as some air taxi services. The airport itself has been created using imagery taken by both Scott and Misha over the past few years to create a truly authentic experience. Further destinations to the GA airport could include many of the other Orbx produced fields including KSTS Sonoma County, KMRY Monterey and KSQL San Carlos.
You can buy it now from Orbx Direct for $32.95AUD.
