Orbx has released ESNQ Kiruna Airport for FSX and P3D. The product includes more than just the one airport, however, with ESSV Visby and ESSD Dala airports both included in the one product.
The three Swedish airports have been developed to the usual, high-quality Orbx standard by developer Marcus Nyberg, featuring high-resolution airport textures and 30/50cm terrain textures. All three airports include advanced baked ambient lighting, as well as custom vehicles and PeopleFlow for increased realism and immersion. Additionally, Orbx has included a new 3D snow effect at ESSD and ESNQ, though this is only available to users on the Prepar3D platform.
Surrounding the included airports are 100,000s of hand placed houses and trees, and the custom vehicles are those that are unique to Sweden. There’s even an approach into ESSD that brings you in over a paddock, which Marcus has chosen to include animated horses. While in Visby, the harbour and the old town have been modelled to match the real world which Marcus says captures “the unique Swedish vibe”.
ESNQ Kiruna Airport (with ESSV Visby and ESSD Dala) is available from Orbx for AUD$39.95 – a bargain price for three airports when this is the same price that most single airports are sold for. Head over to the product page to check out the full range of screenshots.
