While details are limited at this time, we have confirmed Orbx is developing Václav Havel Airport Prague (LKPR), for P3D V4+ and Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Václav Havel Airport is an international airport located in the capital city of Prague in the Czech Republic. It was named after former president Václav Havel, and houses bases for Ryan Air, Czech Airlines, and Smart Wings. In 2019 alone, Václav Havel Airport handled more than 17 million passengers.
While we don’t have much to go on, we do have new preview images to check out while we wait for more information about the project. We also know it is being developed in-house at Orbx’s Havant studio, rather than by one of their numerous 3rd party development partners.
For more information about Václav Havel Airport Prague, you can check out the product page on Orbx’s website here.
This is the third rendition of the same airport announced or previewed in the last few weeks. Tailstrike Designs has confirmed they are working on a Microsoft Flight Simulator version, whilst Chudoba Design is bringing it to X-Plane 11. It’s unlikely these airport developments are related.
