Australia comes to X-Plane! In a post made on their forums, Orbx has made the announcement for Broome International airport (YBRM) for the popular platform. As you know, Orbx has been expanding quite a bit into this simulator.
The scenery, which was originally created for FSX and Prepar3D, has been ported over to X-Plane meticulously to make sure all the great details of the original are there. The original was created by Jarrad Marshall, who you might know from sceneries such as Palm Springs and Innsbruck. Jarrad has been assisted by Mac Ottlinger and Chris Vezirgiannis in bringing this scenery to X-Plane, a process that was described as rather passionate by them. Together, they have done a tremendous job at porting the airport and surrounding region to make sure everything you were able to find previously will be present in this X-Plane version. A release date is yet unknown, but Orbx state that they are already deep into testing this airport and making final adjustments. Hopefully this means we don’t have to wait for the scenery too much longer. More screenshots are soon to follow, but for now, you can check out a few previews of the airport down below or head over to the original post to check out all the shots.
