Orbx’s John Venema announced three new airports for X-Plane 11 on the Orbx Forums. The three airports for TrueEarth Washington and Oregon are KORS Orcas Island for Washington and both 7S3 Stark’s Twin Oaks Airpark and WA79 Walter Sutton’s Airstrip for Oregon.
7S3 Stark’s Twin Oaks Airpark
Stark’s Twin Oaks Airpark is located near Portland, Oregon and is perfectly located for sightseeing expeditions in the Pacific Northwest. Included with the scenery is a large area of 30cm/pixel aerial photoreal terrain that includes various orchards, small farms, and Alpaca ranches. A glacier rock quarry just to the southwest of the airport is a must see for pilots flying in the area. Starks’ house, garage, and two of the hangars are on a hill overlooking the field and have been created with the utmost attention to detail. The airport is fully integrated into TrueEarth US Oregon and includes custom mesh edits to recreate the famous slope between the Stark’s house and the apron.

WA79 Walter Sutton’s Private Strip
Just north of Portland, Oregon in a rural valley is the grass strip of Walter Sutton’s private airfield. WA79 is fully integrated into TrueEarth US Oregon and features new unique vegetation around the airstrip. Walter Sutton’s Private Strip offers accurate modeling, the general store, the old abandoned rail works named ‘Tum Tum’, and a unique cone shaped hill aligned with the runway. Also included is a bonus airstrip “Walter Musa’s”.

KORS Orcas Island Airport

Orcas Island Airport is fully integrated with TrueEarth US Washington and features new unique vegetation around the airport.
