Orbx have introduced the latest scenery to soon enter their archive, brought by Norwegian developer Finn Hansen with Norway’s Stavanger Airport (ICAO: ENZV) in both MSFS 2020 and 2024.
The fairly busy two-runway airport on Norway’s west coast hosts a wealth of routes and traffic, from domestic jets, international carriers and helicopters operating over the North Sea. Finn Hansen’s scenery is to feature highly detailed modelling with PBR textures and a carefully recreated airside infrastructure with custom ground materials.
Additionally, the scenery will feature ‘bespoke vehicles, GSE, signage and local details bringing every corner of the scenery to life, while detailed terraforming and accurate runway lighting ensure a convincing approach from every direction.’ The scenery will also come with a custom GSX profile by Aanerud.
Developer Finn Hansen is no stranger to Norwegian airports in the simulator, having previously released Ålesund Airport, Vigra (ENAL) for MSFS. Stavanger is set to arrive soon, through both OrbxDirect and the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace.
