Orbx continues to announce new products following on from their huge announcement seminar during FlightSimExpo. Today, it was confirmed that East Midlands (EGNX) is nearing the end of development for X-Plane 11.
East Midlands Airport in Leicestershire is a civilian airport which sees traffic from a variety of airlines including TUI, Ryanair and Jet2. Over 4 million passengers travel through East Midlands (EGNX) each year.
Orbx has worked to bring a realistic rendition of the airport to the platform, including PBR texturing, high definition buildings, static aircraft and plenty of custom modelled cars and trucks throughout. Furthermore, there is an active firetruck that drives around the airport as well as an active race track which sees activity every 20 minutes during 08:00 – 22:00.
East Midlands (EGNX) will be available through Orbx very soon for $32.95 AUD (approx. USD $22.95/ €20.50/ £18.20).
