Orbx will be heading to Scotland again very soon with a new release. This time, the team will be releasing Dundee for Prepar3D v4, followed by X-Plane 11 shortly afterwards.
Sitting in the towards the south of Scotland, Dundee airport faces out over the River Tay making for scenic approaches along the waterfront. The in-house team who are developing the airport have included detailed ground imagery, plenty of 3D buildings and colour matched to the local surroundings for a seamless approach into the airport.
For those who don’t know, the airport sees frequent use with Logcanair in the Saab S340 and is also used by the RAF to train cadets in light aircraft. It also serves as an important hub for Amazon with a local warehouse nearby.
Dundee Airport will first release for Prepar3D v4, followed by X-Plane 11 in the near future. Orbx also confirmed that the airport will release for a price of $32.95 AUD (Approx. US$21.68 | €19,77 | £16.80).
