Orbx has confirmed that they are developing CAE3 Campbell River Aerodrome for Prepar3D V3 and V4. The airport, developed by Larry R will be released as freeware for the community.
CAE3 Campbell River Water Aerodrome is located on Tyee Spit in the city of Campbell River. Plenty of seaplanes frequent the airport on a regular basis, but also plenty of helicopters get the opportunity to land on nearby helipads also.
The product will feature a range of modelling work including the docks, nearby buildings, fishing boats and more. The city of Campbell River will be included, along with everything to the North too. Those that enjoy exploring will enjoy finding all of the hidden secrets and detailed buildings including a variety of marinas, AI cruise ships and various lighthouses.
No word on a release date, but we imagine it will be soon. Don’t forget, this is a freeware project from Orbx.
