Orbx Announces Chester Airport for MSFS

Orbx has taken to their forums to announce that they will be releasing Chester Airport (KSNC) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The airport is being developed by indie developer Matteo Veneziani as he revisits Connecticut.

The airport is owned by Whelen Aviation, covering a total of 146 acres and a 2,566ft runway. This provides a great place for GA traffic to take to the skies, whilst also offering air taxis the perfect place to perform operations. The quaint airport in the New England countryside is also the perfect place to try out from flying in VR to take in the natural landscapes nearby.

Included with the airport is custom groundpoly, sloped runways, 4K texturing throughout and conditional objects that vary depending on the weather or time of day.

No exact mention of a release date, but the product page is live indicating it will likely be available pretty soon.

 Features

  • Custom groundpoly with sloped runway & taxiways
  • Conditional display of objects according to weather or time-of-day
  • 4k textures with PBR
  • Developed by Matteo Veneziani
