Coming hot on the heels of their recent Esbjerg Airport release for MSFS, scenery developer Onfinal Studio has, not long ago, also released their rendition of Båtsfjord Airport (ENBS) for MSFS.
Båtsfjord Airport (ENBS) is a regional Norwegian small-scale airport mainly serving Båtsfjord and the surrounding Troms og Finnmark region. Before opening the current facility on September 9th, 1999, another airport serving Båtsfjord did already exist.
However, Wideroe, the airport’s sole carrier, decided to replace its aging DeHavilland DHC-6 Twin Otters with larger DeHavilland DHC-8 aircraft, making the older facility redundant and making it necessary for a new airport to be constructed. Today, the airport sees direct services operated by Wideroe’s DeHavilland DHC-8 to several regional destinations, including Tromsø, Vadsø, and Kirkenes.
Nordic scenery developer Onfinal Studio has recently released their detail-rich rendition of this iconic Nordic airfield for MSFS users to enjoy. In addition to featuring an accurate recreation of the airfield, the scenery comes included custom made 3D models and objects, PBR textures, reworked night lighting, and a reworked ground layout.
The product is now available for purchase via the simMarket online store and will set you back €8.00 E.x. VAT.
