NZA Simulations has released a new scenery in their Proline products. NZWF – Wanaka Region is available now for MSFS 2020. It features a detailed rendition of the Wanaka Region, a popular holiday region for both the summer and winter period on New Zealand’s South Island.
Wanaka Airport is the main airport of the region, faithfully recreated by the NZA Simulations team. It hosts a biannual ‘Warbirds Over Wanaka’ air show, and the airport has a regular scheduled service to Christchurch. Static aircraft, vehicles, people and a terminal interior all aim to enhance the airports realism and immersion.
Wanaka Region does not just feature Wanaka Airport, but also covers a vast area outside of the airport borders. Over 5000km² has been included in this scenery, filled with airports and heliports, custom buildings, landmarks and other points of interest. This makes Wanaka Region well worth exploring by many different means of (aerial) transportation. Some of the other airports included in this scenery package are Makarora Airstrip & Heliport, Wanaka Lakes Health Centre Heliport, Aspiring Helicopters and Hawea Flat Strip.
