Just as World Update 12 has arrived, scenery developer, NZA Simulations has released their rendition of Christchurch International Airport (NZCH) as part of their Proline Plus range for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Christchurch Airport is the main international airport serving Christchurch, New Zealand, and is the second-largest airport in the country. It serves as a gateway to the South Island and is a hub for domestic and international travel.
The airport is located around 7.5 miles from the city of Christchurch and is served by a handful of airlines with 23 destinations in 4 countries including 16 domestic flights. Some of the airlines include Air New Zealand, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, Qantas, Virgin Australia, and Jetstar. The longest flight to and from Christchurch is Hong Kong (November to January), at 5,875 miles nonstop operated by a Cathay Pacific Airbus A350-900.
NZA Simulations has created an accurate and highly detailed depiction of Christchurch as it is at present, including modelling over 300 buildings in the vicinity, such as landmarks like the Novotel Hotel, Spitfire Square Shopping Centre, Memorial Bridge, Mustang Park and more.
