NL2000 has released an update of their free scenery package for the Netherlands. The update follows on v5.01, which added updated base photorealistic scenery for the entire country. This update also adds up-to-date photorealistic scenery for all the airports covered in the NL2000 scenery package. This should provide significantly more accurate airports, as the previous airport ground scenery was dating back to 2006. The photorealistic underground is now using 2017 data.
V5.02 also brings a significant update to Groningen Airport Eelde (EHGG). To begin with, the old runway 01/19 is now a taxiway. The team has also added a new fuel station, and to top it all off, the team has placed 63.000 solar panels that are now covering the empty grass nearby and on the airport.
Last but not least, the update also adds two new wind farms (Gemini and Krammer), and two heliports (Eemshaven and Schiermonnikoog). The team has also updated some 3D objects in the NL2000 library, which have been placed on several of their airports. With the new library also comes an updated installer which is needed for this update. The installer, as well as the other NL2000 packages, can be obtained from their website. The update is only available for Prepar3D v4 and up.
