Nimbus Simulation Studios has posted new in-development screenshots of its upcoming Boeing 707 for X-Plane 12. The images, shared via the Nimbus’ Facebook page, show the current state of the aircraft’s cockpit interior.
The previews focus on the flight deck, displaying updated work on instruments, lighting, and textures. In the post, Nimbus stated that while progress is being made, there is still a “long way to go” before the add-on is complete.
In comments responding to the post, Nimbus confirmed the aircraft will be equipped with both an Inertial Navigation System and a Flight Management System. The provided screenshots also show a CIVA INS unit modelled in the cockpit’s centre pedestal.
The Nimbus Boeing 707 has been in development for X-Plane 12 since 2024, and no release date or pricing information has been announced at this time.
