Developers Nimbus Simulation Studios released their BN-2 Islander for X-Plane 11 earlier this year and since then, the team has worked on a fresh new update improving the product. In a somewhat strange update for the aircraft, the new version will include two brand new airports for the simulator to fly your BN-2 Islander into.
When version 1.1 of the BN-2 Islander is released, both Westray Airport (EGEW) and Papa Westry Airport (EGEP) will be included alongside various fixes and features to the aircraft itself. Both of these airports are the perfect type to test your flying skills with the turboprop aircraft. Both airports will be delivered to a high standard, as shown by the screenshots shared on Facebook.
What we don’t know is how the aircraft itself will improve with the update. However, we’ll keep our eyes on Facebook to see if Nimbus shares any further details.
You can buy the Nimbus Simulation Studio BN-2 Islander for X-Plane 11 from the X-Plane.org store for $34.95.
