Nimbus Simulaton has released Atlanta International Airport V2 for X-Plane 11. Serving over 100 million passengers a year, Atlanta International Airport is the world’s busiest airport and is the primary hub for Delta Airlines. Delta also has their Technical Operations Center on the airport, and is the airline’s primary maintenance, overhaul, and repair base. Atlanta is a focus city for both Frontier and Spirit and is a crew base for Southwest Airlines.
Atlanta International Airport V2 features 4K textures for the main terminals using PBR material, the terminals also include a 3D interior and numerous people inside. PBR material has also been used in creating the ground polys and service vehicles scattered around the airport. Numbered jetways, night lighting, parking lots with cars, and HDR lights are just some of the features included in this new version of Atlanta International Airport. Files for World Traffic 3 are included, Atlanta International V2 is also compatible with GroundTraffic and AutoGate. As if the airport didn’t feel alive enough, the information boards at the gate are active. They show the time, pressure, temperature, destination airport, departure time, and the time of any delay. Nimbus Simulation’s Atlanta International V2 is available for purchase from the Xplane.org Store for $28.95.
