Nimbus has taken to Facebook to preview their upcoming Islander BN-2 at Westray Airport. Westray Airport is known as being one of the airports involved in the shortest commercial aviation flight in the world. Located in the Orkney Islands of Scotland, the Islander BN-2 makes the routine flight frequently and due to the capabilities of the aircraft.
The previews highlight the external model with a number of liveries attached. However, what is worth noting is the inclusion of various configuration menus which appear to be in-sim.
The new configuration menus include weight and balance and aircraft maintenance. The weight and balance page will enable you to adjust fuel, passenger weight along with cargo load. Aircraft maintenance shows you the current status of various aircraft systems and mechanical components. If users don’t like to keep an eye on that detail, you can select a box to have the plane “always new”.
