Aircraft developer NextGen Simulations has provided a series of new screenshots for its upcoming EMB 110 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Introduced in the 1960s, the Brazillian twin-turboprop was developed by Embraer to serve both civilian and military purposes. It can carry around 20 passengers and cargo with an average speed of 220 knots.
We can see from the preview imagery that the aircraft is looking to include a range of features. From what we can tell, there will be an EFB, detailed modelling and PBR texturing throughout. In addition, the EFB will give virtual pilots the ability to animate the doors and change various external equipment such as chocks and engine covers.
In addition to the new previews, the team has confirmed that the aircraft is scheduled to release between Friday, March 26th and Sunday, March 28th. This is providing that everything goes well during the final development stage of the aircraft. No price has yet to be set by the team.
This is an aircraft we’ll be keeping a close eye on over the next few weeks as we get closer to release. We’ll be sure to keep you updated with any additional developments.
