Regardless of whether you’ve fully embraced the A220 name or still call it the C-Series, a 47 minute long preview video on the hotly anticipated single-aisle airliner from Synaptic Simulations and iniBuilds has arrived.
The video, titled Welcome to the Synaptic A220, starts with a detailed history of the airliner’s development. Then, an exterior walkaround showcases details in the PW1500G engines, body work, control surfaces, and the APU.
Harsh from Synaptic then takes the stage to go through cold-and dark startup procedure while showcasing the avionics workflow, checklists, FMS setup, and EFB. During the pushback, detail shots of the engine startup, sounds, and control checks create a feast for the eyes. Of course, the procedurally simulated engine howl is also shown.
Once in the air, Harsh from Synaptic explains the trim system, pitch/climb modes, graphical flight planning, vertical path adjustments, and talks the audience through a landing.

Synaptic A220 Release Details
Cameron then concludes the video with a detailed look at the EFB. Pilots familiar with other iniBuilds aircraft can expect a similar interface including performance calculations, ground service management, SimBrief Integration, and Navigraph Charts support. However, the A220 includes one thing not found in other iniBuilds aircraft- RGB Cabin Lighting.
The Synaptic A220 is planned to release on the MSFS Marketplace next week (27-31 July 2026). No pricing information was available at the time this article was published.
