Developer Contrail has shared a new preview showcasing the sound design of its upcoming Dassault Falcon 50 for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The preview, shared on the developer’s Discord server, highlights the aircraft’s startup sequence and provides an early listen to the detailed audio work being created for the aircraft. In the clip, users can hear the aircraft coming to life, beginning with battery power, followed by the distinctive spool-up of the standby Attitude Director Indicator (ADI), before the external APU start sequence begins.
While brief, the preview offers an insight into the level of detail being aimed for with the Falcon 50’s audio environment. Contrail has been gradually revealing development previews of the Falcon 50 in recent months, with the aircraft expected to bring the classic French-built trijet business jet to Microsoft Flight Simulator.
